IS GOD'S WORD SETTLED?

Psalm 119:89; Matthew 28:18-20; Eph. 5:17

Applications:

1. The definition of marriage (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:3ff; Mal. 2:16).
2. Fornication and adultery (Prov. 7:27; Heb. 13:4).
3. Homosexuality (Lev. 18:22; 20:13; 1 Cor. 6:9, 10; Rom. 1:26-28).
4. Abortion (Prov. 6:16-19; Exod. 21:22, 23; Luk. 1:41, 44). Note that this is implicitly condemned.
5. Modest clothing (1 Tim. 2:9, 10; Exod. 28:42; Prov. 7:10; Gen. 3:21). Clothing is tied to redemption!
6. Women preachers (1 Tim. 2:11, 12).
7. Salvation (hearing, believing, repenting, confessing, immersion/baptism).

God's word is settled and for those whose tongues and souls are not for sale, they will stand on these statements without compromise.
