• John 6:66, 67 - What did these disciples do? How did Jesus understand their actions? How did the apostles understand their actions?
• 2 Peter 2:20-22- What is the implication of the text? What are the pictures that Peter uses to describe those who were again entangled and overcome?
• Galatians 5:1-7 - with expressed statements: You have fallen...you ran well...you have become estranged from Christ. To become estranged from Christ necessarily requires they were once in fellowship with Christ. To fall from grace necessarily requires that they were once in grace.
